Instead of static photos, we gave clients the ability to interact fully. We created photorealistic visualizations set in laboratory scenes and an interactive 3D model (Sketchfab) that lets you view the machine from every side without leaving home.

The challenge: show the equipment in context
Organising a photo shoot of heavy equipment in sterile laboratory conditions generates huge logistical costs. The client needed a way to show their machines at work in different environments, while also giving engineers the ability to examine the build of the device in detail from any angle.

The 3D model runs smoothly on every device, from a powerful workstation to the smartphone in the client's pocket. Comtec 3D gained a presentation tool available 24/7 anywhere in the world.
Technical details
Texture was the key. We made sure the materials (metal, plastic, displays) reacted to light in real time as the model was rotated. This gives the client the feeling of handling a physical object rather than a flat image.
Digitising sales
The interactive model was embedded directly on the client's website. As a result, sales reps do not have to send large PDF or video files, they send a link where the customer can view the machine themselves. It is a modern B2B sales support tool.
Result: user engagement
Being able to control the view (rotating, zooming) dramatically increased the time users spend on the product page. Clients can check the layout of connectors or the ergonomics of the control panel remotely, which speeds up decision making and builds the image of a technologically transparent company.
