1. General information

This Privacy Policy sets out the rules for processing and protecting personal data provided by Users in connection with their use of the website available at https://www.spojnia.studio/

The controller of personal data on the website is Dariusz Kawalec, conducting business under the name Spójnia Studio Dariusz Kawalec with its registered office in Wrocław, ul. Nowogródzka 29/8, 51-351 Wrocław, Poland, Tax ID (NIP) 8952298181, hereinafter referred to as the Controller.

The Controller attaches particular importance to protecting Users’ privacy and processes personal data in accordance with applicable law, in particular Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council (GDPR).



2. Scope and purpose of data collection

The Controller processes Users’ personal data for strictly defined purposes.

  • Contact and correspondence: If you use the contact form or send an email, we process data such as your first name, last name, company name, email address and telephone number. The legal basis is the Controller’s legitimate interest (responding to your enquiry) or taking steps at the request of the data subject before entering into a contract.

  • Analytical and statistical purposes: we process technical data (IP address, browser type, operating system, time spent on the website) to analyse User activity and improve the quality of the website. The legal basis is the User’s consent given via the cookie banner (Article 6(1)(a) GDPR). Consent can be withdrawn at any time without affecting the lawfulness of processing carried out before its withdrawal.

Providing data is voluntary, however failure to provide contact details may make it impossible to respond to an enquiry.



3. Data recipients and data transfers

Users’ personal data may be transferred to entities that provide technical support for the operation of the website. These include hosting providers and providers of analytics tools (e.g. Google). Data is transferred only on the basis of appropriate data processing agreements or the terms of service of those providers, which guarantee compliance with the GDPR.

Because we use Google services (Google Analytics), data may be transferred outside the European Economic Area. Google ensures an adequate level of data protection by applying standard contractual clauses approved by the European Commission.



4. Cookies

The website uses cookies, which are small pieces of text information stored on the User’s end device. Cookies are used for the following purposes:

  • Necessary: They enable the website to work properly and its features to be used.

  • Analytical: They allow website traffic statistics to be studied (e.g. Google Analytics), which helps us understand how Users use the website.

  • Functional: They may remember User settings, making the website easier to use.

During the first visit to the website, a cookie banner is displayed in which the User can accept or reject cookies other than necessary ones. Analytical and functional cookies are stored only after consent has been given. Personal data is stored for the period necessary to achieve the purpose of processing:

  • The right to rectify data if it is incorrect.

  • The right to erasure (“the right to be forgotten”), unless there are other legal grounds for further processing.

  • The right to restrict processing.

  • The right to data portability.

  • The right to object to processing.

  • The right to lodge a complaint with the President of the Personal Data Protection Office (Prezes Urzędu Ochrony Danych Osobowych) if you believe that the processing infringes the GDPR.
